"Quick Get" is marketing slang for messaging that is so simple and clear that customers instantly understand your offer, why it matters to them and what they need to do next.
It's harder than it looks. Teams get stuck because they know their business too well. It takes focused effort to look at your business from the point of view of a new prospect: someone with a problem you can solve, but with no idea who you are or how your solution can help them.
The QuickGet Marketing Insight workshop is designed to help your team break the familiarity trap, uncovering the insights and ideas you need to propel your marketing efforts, and your business, to the next level.
A QuickGet workshop is like 100 water cooler moments compressed into a few hours and with a process in place to carry the most promising ideas forward.
The QuickGet method was developed by Teri Patrick in 1997.
As the founder of Eyestorm Studios in Sunnyvale, Ca, Teri and her team, helped hundreds of Silicon Valley clients create their first websites, computer-based training material and other digital marketing assets. Nearly all clients struggled to express what they did in simple, straightforward language that resonated with their customers. For many, their first instinct was to provide lots of technical detail, hoping potential customers would figure out the value for themselves. It didn't go well.
Teri began running workshops to help clients express their value in customer-centric language. The workshops were so successful, they became a stand-alone offering. In the words of one business owner: "The workshop alone was worth the price we paid for the entire website. It changed the way we work. It made us better."
She is now making the workshops available for free.
